Brushed Gold Center links
has anyone everyone this or think this would be cool…to have your TT PCLS brushed to mach the SS out links? I was looking at my TTDJ and I was looking at the inner part of the oyster bracelet I thought this would be pretty cool that the gold PCL brushed especially on a sports model Rolex.
THoughts? pictures? I am sure there has to be someone out there who has done this. something like this…… |

This comes up from time to time. Personally I prefer the polished look on the gold bits (bezel excluded). I think with the softness of gold scratches are going to happen anyway, and I don't really notice them that much when looking at a watch as it's actually being worn, not being examined from a static position under the lights in a display case at the AD.

The look is not worth shaving gold away for, especially since all the swirls will eventually lead to a fine haze that approximates the effect anyway.

On the picture it does not look bad at all, personally I prefer them polished.
If you like it go for it, can be easily reversed if you regret it so no problem

Your picture looks ok and it is your watch but I prefer to leave my watch in the condition Rolex designed them. I would not do it.

I wouldn't brush SS but certainly not PM, makes the watch look more luxurious and dynamic as it should.

I don't mind the look - but wouldn't have it done personally -- as already said -- overtime (with no polishing) it will develop a nice matte look - very similar to that

I didn't do this to my watch. This is a photoshoped image of a watch I saw online to kinda get the idea of brushed CL.

As much as PCL are not for me with my OCD... I don't think brushing gold is the way to go. It really takes away from the look of the piece.

I've toyed with the idea but then it'd be a pain to redo every time you sent it in to get serviced.

This could be a new look for rolex TT sport models. Could you imagine a TT explorer 216570 with brushed center links and brushed.
