Glidelock wear and tear?
I got to wondering today...every time I use my sub I move the Glidelock since I make the band larger to put it on my winder. Would using the Glidelock every time I wear my watch cause it to become weak or lose?
Has anyone ever had thier Glidelock break? |

wear and tear is a thing. Yes if you use something more it will be more likely to break, its just the way things work. That being said....unless you are really abusing it I don't see it needing repair for a very very long time. The build quality is very high from my experience on those clasps.

I see no issues. Over a long period of time, decades, you may see some wear but not a concern.

The clasp will be fine. However, do you daily your Sub? If so, keep it off the winder! No reason to put wear on the rotor and Glidelock if the power reserve is long enough to keep it going between wears.

What kind of mount does your winder have where you constantly have to adjust the bracelet? Mine has spring loaded mounts, you just squeeze both ends together and slide the watch onto it and then release the ends. No bracelet adjustment necessary.
