vintage Tudor ... any comments about 60s Tudors?

Hello,

I have a few vintage watches from the 50s and 60s that I wear gently.

I'm thinking of getting this Tudor (60s I believe). I will do my due diligence in the next few days, but TRF members are wonderful about sharing their wisdom and I hope I get can get a few words about the 60s Tudors.

Thanks in advance, Chris

Lovely piece. Hands look like those on my 1969 Tudor Jumbo. Love the smooth bezel!

Research parts availability. Some of the older watches are hard to maintain if a problem occurs due to lack of parts.

When I was looking at Tudor subs, I was luck in that the birth year 1974 sub used an ETA movement so is easier to service. The earlier ones used the caliber 390 by Fleurier. A good page I found is https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/in...-watch-company

I love the late 50s and early 60s Tudors. The model 7966 is my favorite.
