Up for sale is a rare 1953 Glossy Gilt Rolex Precision Oyster Date Reference 6066. This piece is in overall beautiful untouched vintage condition and running strong.

CASE: Lightly polished case shows very minimal signs of wear. No pitting or corrosion. Serial and reference numbers are crisp between the lugs:

Serial number: 874*** circa 1953.

DIAL/HANDS: Untouched Glossy Gilt Dial shows early tropic patina. Lume on the hr markers and dolphin hands match evenly Red date disc changes swift at 12. Dial shows age and light ware but in overall nice condition considering its age.

CROWN: Brevet Crown signed Rolex Crown and cross. Sits flush with case and sets/winds perfectly.

MOVEMENT: Keeping great time Rolex Swiss signed caliber 30689, 17 jewel is very clean and runs strong.

Caseback is stamped 2.53 with Rolex ref and insignia.

Acrylic is clean and shows some ware considering its age.
