Hello everyone, new member

Hey there everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself! I am getting the GMT Master II black\blue here in the next couple weeks. This will be my first Rolex and am very excited! The AD went down to $8,500. Do you think this is a reasonable price or should I push for a few extra $100 off?

Denny

Good price from an AD. Ask if they have any Rolex gifts like hats, pens, etc.

Welcome. Congrats on a great choice, you will love it. Good price but agree the AD might have some cool Rolex things to throw in.

Congrats and Welcome Denny,

Some ADs will crack a bottle of wine or champagne....at least a diet coke. Don't leave without that.

Enjoy!

$8500 is a good price considering it's an AD. You can score that price or a couple hundred lower new from trusted sellers on here though with the full warranty without tax. Sounds like an imminent incoming. Congrats, love the BLNR.

Hi, I am new as well. I am actually looking to sell a Rolex. Just joined today, so I think I need to wait 15 days and make 15 posts.

Hello and Welcome to TRF!

Any discount on a SS Rolex is a good one, so consider yourself lucky and enjoy the BLNR!!

Hey Denny, welcome to TRF!

It's a good price, and just finding a BLNR is difficult in some areas, so you're in a good place. Make sure to post photos when you get it!

I never liked the gmt master until the BLNR. The ceramic bezel with the blue is really outstanding. I love it.

For a few hundred more, AD is the right venue for your first Rolex. Welcome and go for it.

Welcome!! Not worth the haggle for $100 ask for extras like mentioned above... Or as most of us do here is buy from trusted sellers for probably a few hundred off. Congrats either way!

Welcome bro !

I would rather pay a few hundred more to an AD especially if its my first watch. Plus you get many free goodies. Few hundred more for security, good service, comfortable environment to deal and a life time peace of mind, definitely worth it.

I didn't receive any free goodies. However the peace of mind was well worth it. I am about to purchase my 2nd Rolex and I'm going back to the same AD. Some of the new Replacas are so good it makes it very difficult. Maybe when I am ready for my 3 Rolex I'll feel confident enough to trust one of the many sellers on this forum.
