Are any members attending a Patek MR Event at HSWA? I was invited by my AD and will be there Tuesday, September 13th. It would be nice to meet a few of you guys.

I too would love to own one, but I am sure this event won't be selling them so I should be safe! Fingers crossed.....

Oh it's not a sale I'm worried about but the ideas filtering into my head. Just reading this thread has been bad for me.

Yeah, like what watches can I sell to get a MR that I won't miss later and want to re-buy. Or how many years of my kids college education can I have them take loans for? LOL.....

Robb Report recently had a First Look at the Minute Repeaters. Upon viewing the video, I can say those who will be going to the event in NYC are in for a special treat! Hope you all enjoy the event and let us know which MR incoming we can expect from you guys

Don't think I could afford the service nor the 12 months it will take to have it seen to!

LOL, just make them work at Macdonalds from the legal age they can, and before that have them deliver the papers in the morning, and don't take them on holidays, they'll go when they earn their own cash, you're already housing and feeding them, it's enough, get the MR

About MR's I would love a 5074P, amazing watch, but unfortunately getting such a watch would make a really too big of a whole in my capital and revenues from it, so won't happen ever, God make me win the lottery :-)

Are they only presenting MR on the event or will there be a preview for the 40th nautilus anniversary?

Please post pics, would be a great event for sure.

The only info they sent has called it a Minute Repeater Event. It is all day but not much more detail.

Here are a few pics from the Minute Repeater Event. Patek does an incredible job for these events as many of you already know. Even my better half was not only impressed but left wanting one! Haha!

Great photos. They are all amazing, but the 5208 is off the scale! I assume they had some working pieces to listen to?

They were all working and they all were set and chimed many times. We got to play Thierry Stern and listen to three different watches and rate them using the same criteria he does to determine if they are ready for delivery to a customer or if they need to be adjusted.

Very interesting day. I was lazy and only recorded one but my wife recorded a few more! I will get the videos from her and post them as soon as I figure out how!

Fantastic, a very rare opportunity to handle and listen to so many minute repeaters. Look forward to the videos

I'd love to own that ladies 7000R, put it on a dark brown strap and it's just as suited for a gentleman.

Yep, I actually discussed that with a Patek employee. The watch is 35mm, but it is still about $350k!

35mm is fine for me, 350k is a bit above my budget though
