Next= 16610 lv VS 116610 lv hulk

just wondered what peoples thoughts were around the above 2 watches,,,
Not very much between them used,,,,,,
i have been told the "hulks" dial comes across black in different light,,,,
i really cant decide what of the two would be the more prudent purchase,,,
Both watches i love and this is the first time that i have been split between two watches ,,,,,,
any opinions much appreciated and thanks for reading,,,,,,,

for me, LVc....the dial + glidelock + ceramic bezel insert + the lugs (i prefer the modern lugs on sports models) + the dial (did i write "the dial" twice?).

I second that! The 16610LV is a nice watch too, but the LVC really shines.

I've had both. I prefer the 116610LV because the ceramic bezel is much less prone to damage, and the glidelock clasp looks much better (to me) and allows for adjustability.

From a money perspective you are right if you buy pre-owned both will be in the $7500 +/- range. The only benefit I see to the 16610LV is that if the condition remains good, the value will continue to rise whereas the current 116610LV will stay the same unless it's discontinued or updated.

the 16610lvs are full sets but coming up for service time,,,,,,
head is telling me 16610 but my heart is saying 1166101,,,,,,,
no impulsiveness for this as i intend it to be a keeper,,,,

I would suggest the original 16610LV due to the lack of maxi case, but then again I am biased. Good luck.

Have both and although the case shape/lugs on LV is more aesthetically pleasing, the dial and the glidelock on the LVc makes it a more enjoyable watch.

GlideLock is a really amazing feature on the newer divers. Your bracelet is always fitting perfectly.

They are both great. The LVC fits better nut the LV is just a classic.

I think that the 5 digit fits better and wears more comfortable than the C version.

LVC without a doubt, many people prefer the older 16610 but the sunburst dial, ceramic bezel and glide lock make the LVC a winner in my mind

i never owned a ceramic sub,but i've wore them quite a few times,and i much prefer the lugs,clasp,bezel and dial on the lv,and as others said,if it's in good condition,it will also be a good investment,you could make a few bucks on the hulk,but there are thousands of them out there,nothing special.

the kermit tho,great size,looks gorgeous,and it's somewhat a special edition.

not that you can go wrong with either,but the pre ceramics are way better in my opinion,and i'm a 5 digit fan also lol

Between the two I'd go LVc. I have a close friend who wears the 16610LV daily and has for four or five years. To me, the LVc with green bezel AND dial just looks better. For whatever reason, the stark difference between the black and green on the LV just doesn't do it for me.

I really think the LVc is a stunning piece to look at, I just don't want green everyday for myself, doesn't work with what I have to wear to work or what I wear outside of work.....just my opinion.
