What would be your next NON-Sport Purchase?

Since we pretty much know what everybody wants with all the sport model threads we have here (Like how I want a Explorer1 and black dial SS Daytona) lets for the sake of argument say that the Professional line doesnt exist. What would be your next purchase?

I think I would like to get a 16200 Oyster, smooth bezel, with either a Rhodium or white roman dial.

My other choice would be a SS TOG, Oyster, black dial

Well in the modern Rolex range, well nothing really,to make me spent my money. But I do like the new Rolex Prince, but would love what they sometimes call the
doctors watch.Rolex Prince ultra prima late 30s mod 1490 or 971 in S.S.

I am with JJ, I need the bigger watch size to compensate for....oh never mind that is an inside thought.

I really do prefer the 40mm range personally, though the DJ's do look perfect on other people, so I might think about it.

If I went non-sport, I'd say either a Glashutte Original Senator Panorama date, in SS, white dial on a black strap.

OR

A JLC MM, exactly like the one Avalon has.

In the non-sport catagory, it has to be this one:

JLC Master 8 Day Perpetual in RG.

Ed, that's a schweeeet JLC. I think it's lacking in the complications department though. It needs um.... more complications.

Well, I recently got one of the new-style two-tone Datejusts, and when they show up in stores I plan to get one of the SS models. I'd like to get one with the Concentric dial -- the one with the circles.

The new bracelets feel more solid and well-made than any Rolex has ever made before. I have a hard time taking off the new Jubilee. Even the solid-link Oysters on the Daytona and Yacht-Master don't have the same feel.

I also plan to get one of the upcoming "Prince" models sometime. I hope I'll like them as much in person as I do in pictures.

You mean like this?

Good choice, good choice. I love this combo so much, it looks so good, that it's the only one I have that I'm somewhat afraid of wearing. I just love it's style so much I don't want to scratch it!

As far as what would be next in the non-sports line, it would be a black dialed Datejust with stick markers. This is a watch that is so under-rated, it looks ok in pics, but in person it's really a stunner, just a knockout. You look at it and think "Wow, why didn't I notice this beauty before?"

A SS DJ version with a Roman numeral dial. However, if there weren't any sport models to choose from...

Geez, Rudolph! Like with this other one you sure are digging up old threads today!

Anyway, my next NON sport's Rolex purchase will be a DJ 116234 with a silver dial, SL sticks.

Before that, I intend to get the DSSD, however.

I would like to have Day-Date in YG, it`s my grail watch...but I don`t think that such thing will happen soon (because the money, of course), so I hope that I`ll be able to get some nice DJ (in SS), or even OP Date, but new one...
