Am I wrong, or is this a bit off ???
I just got my 16760 back from the RSC and I've been wearing it consistently for 6 days now laying it face up in my case at night and recording the time every 6 hours.
On my wrist it seems to be running -4.5s/d. My timegrapher shows an average rate (with the dial up) of -6.5s/d with an avg beat error of 2.9ms and an avg amplitude of 256 degrees. Correct me if I am wrong but this beat error seems way too high to me and the amplitude to low. Granted this is a 30 year old watch but it has just been in for a $1300 dollar service and I would expect better accuracy than this. Am I just being too picky or are these numbers a bit off???

My AD got my exp II regulated so that it was approximately one second a week fast. And the watch is more than 40 years old.
So I would call RSC and ask them to do a proper job |

One second a week would be excellent but I would be satisfied with cosc specs. That said, 4.5 seconds a day is close. (Although I would rather have it a couple of seconds fast than slow - easier to correct) What concerns me the most is the beat error is high and the amplitude seems low from what I have read. How can a RSC return a watch after a full service with specs that extreme?

Bad quality control.
Monday morning It can happen. From what I heard from RSC and AD is that they will preder to regulate it so it will run fast. The irregularities you mention would make send it in under warranty. |

Amplitude is the problem it must be in between 270 and 310

Isn't that beat error ridiculously high too?

I've sent a message to the RSC that did the work. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't just being too picky before I chewed them out.
