Something special happened today at the AD . . .

Bam! My third Rolex purchase in less than two years. It was too good of a deal to pass up my friends!

Details please. I looked at a GMT today and asked about a possible discount and they said zero discounts on sport models.

Congrats on a beautiful piece.

I'm ashamed to say: 20 percent off retail. No kidding.

20% off an SS Sports is incredible. Good job and congrats

I wonder how long it'll be before someone asks you to post a shot of your receipt to prove it

great watch, the black gmt is my favourite imo, the BLNR has become so popular recently i would say this model is actually more rarely seen on these forums

Yes I agree.

I think the green GMT hand provides a better match for the black dial than the blue; also, I don't think the black/blue mix on the BLNR's bezel works, at least not to my eyes.

Also one of my favorites. Mine dates back to the mid-80s. You rocked it on the discount too! Congrats!

Congrats on your great new GMT IIc. This exact model was my first Rolex purchase back in 2008. I like the black face & bezel and just a hint of green on the 24h hand and "GMT-Master II". It has a very accurate movement which bettered COSC when it didn't have to back in the day. Wear it in good health. Cheers!

Fantastic pick up on my favorite Rolex reference. Love the LN, classic and both sporty and elegant.
