My friend just sent me this picture and told me Rolex will be re-releasing the Blueberry.

Anyone heard about this? Is it true?

Yes and they will be retailing for $12,400 but impossible to get except through grey market sellers for $16,500+. It's the new Rolex marketing strategy, modeled off entertainment event ticket resale (scalping).

Rolex is tighter than any other company about future releases.

This particular picture has been floating around for a few years now.

Is it monochrome that does these high-quality mock-ups each year as their guesses for new Rolex releases?

Anyway, that is what this picture is from. There are some others floating around from whatever watch site that makes them before baselworld each year.

I'm pretty sure this mockup has been around since I joined the forum in prediction of Basel 2015. On the lighter side, we could get a head start on the Guiness WR for breath-holding if we start now...

Why would they make a watch like that? It's nearly identical to the BLNR.

Agree with you both and seems pretty unlikely.

If they make the dial blue, white or rhodium....that would make it very different and I'd want to trade my LN for it.

If they release any new gmt my vote is it will be a platinum coke model or a two tone root beer. Highly doubt another color as bezel for gmt when blnr is so popular.

This picture and speculation has been circulated before.

The odds of this happening, simply by virtue of it having been predicted, is all but nil.

I would rather see a slight different color on the dial instead of on the bezel.
