Diver Love?

I know I am going to get sh_t upon with the sub being the darling of the forum but you know what I don't care for the look of the sub. When I say sub I suppose I'm referring to all black bezel watches in that I find them all unattractive and crude looking. Do not understand this obsession. Out of the the current offerings/line up, the only references I like are the Explorers(1&2) and the Datejusts. If you are a fan, I don't mean to belittle your watch but it just doesn't do it for me. Good, got that of my chest, each to his own.

I find the DJ and Explorer to be unattractive but you don't see me posting about that? What lead you to post this anyways?

Do you know what, on reflection you are right, was not meant to be a troll post, more a case of opening my mouth before my brain is engaged. No good can come out of such a post and only annoys those members who do like and enjoy the references. Apologies all. Mea Culpa.

Then why did you post?

There's nothing wrong with your opinion.

There are models that I like less than others and I express those opinions in the appropriate contexts and sometimes it rubs someone the wrong way.

In your case, though, it seems that you posted solely to irritate others.

What a pointless post. A post like this isn't going to encourage conversation. Not every opinion needs to be shared for no reason.

People should really approach the internet like real life. Not that this post is "offensive" to Sub owners, it's just a watch, but you wouldn't walk up to someone who was wearing a Sub in a coffee shop and say "I find your watch to be boring and crude. I don't know why you bought that thing. I don't like it".

I don't necessarily agree with the original poster, but I do think he should be able to make his point, he has an opinion on a watch so why shouldn't he share it? I think for people to call him a troll because they disagree with his view is a bit harsh.

Well, goody goody for you. I'm not sure what the point is of coming on a Rolex Forum and telling the members that you don't like one of the models well loved by most members. Our little forum is a welcome oasis from the negativity and ill feeling spewed out on most forums. Let's keep it that way.

Well shoot...I'm going to have to go and switch out this crude looking and unattractive watch now.

And after I had struggled for hours deciding what to wear today.

Its ok to post opinions...not to troll I guess.

Irregardless, NOT everyone is gonna love the Sub...howveer, 99% of the population does adore it..:)..and with good reason of course...

Now if I could save some $$ to get another Sub C ( Black ) to keep my DSSD company/....
