Sell, keep or wear???

Happy holidays everyone,

I have a real 1st world problem...I have a few watches in rotation, one of which is a black faced Daytona, whilst sorting out a few boxes I came across a fully boxed, stickered white faced Daytona that I bought a while back and thought that I'd sold on.

Question is...with the stupid prices of Daytonas if this was you, what would you do with it?

Thanks

You just find Daytona's laying around. Let me come over. Personally i would wear unless i wanted something else and was going to flip towards that.

Well if its 100% brand new in box. Maybe keeping it for 20 years it may actually be worth something. New old Stock.

If I came across a watch I didn't know I owned, I'd want to see a physician fairly urgently.

Bingo. Is OP a high production run sales guy or what? To have so many watches that he came across one he did not know he had, well that is a disease.

Wow...I can't even fathom being in a position to forget about a Daytona.

As such, it seems like the money the watch would bring wouldn't really make a huge difference to you one way or another (apologies if wrong, just guessing you would have known if it had been sold if it's value was such to make an appreciable difference for you). So I would say keep it. Lovely classic watch and the white face is my favorite of the Daytonas!

What I nice problem to have no matter what you decide :)

If you didn't even realize that you still had the watch and never wore it (I assume never wore since it is fully stickered.), then sell it and move on.

The money isn't a big deal so that doesn't really have a bearing

Baller status achieved. lol I would immediately commence putting my picture up on Wiki-something under definition of 'balling'.

In all seriousness, you forgot it for a reason; i.e you weren't really interested, so why even bother keeping it. I say sell.

If you forgot you bought it, then it's not like you missed it or anything.

I'd sell.

Sell now while prices are inflated and invest elsewhere... or throw a lavish party. Hey, it's just found money, enjoy it :)

This is the definition of first world problem

May as well sell it and get something you won't forget?
