I only have one pen on the horizon for 2017 and it is a Nakaya Cigar Piccolo in Heki-tamenuri. I hope 2017 will be mostly selling pens to new homes.

Like I said. It will need to wait.

It is still on my A list, but a little below midway down.

I understand they are in the process on making the fishies mate, and the she-fish doesn't like the he-fish so it'll take some 6 months before we get a fishie inside a converter and then to your Nakaya. Pain in the butt.

But tadpoles are easier to get along and play around so those are more readily available.

I can't keep up on the relationship status of these Japanese fish anymore! I would suggest the he-fish go get a Ferrari and lose the existing she-fish. She sounds like nothing but trouble, that fish! Take the Ferrari around Tokyo and the she-fishes will flock. Problem solved!

You can't get my Soratame but I know where there might be some new and old Conway Stewarts for sale.

Also, two vintage 146s listed over at FP Geeks.

My pen acquisition train has already derailed and we're not even past January. I have two pens in the mail from Jim and I'm planning an attack on an Omas auction later this week. All 3 pens were not on my 2017 list above

I can't take credit for those pictures. They were done by my little sister. She got the talent in the family.

I have decided that from now on I will collect new-old-stock Waterman Le Man 100 pens, and those only. There are plenty of renditions where to choose from. I see pen shows in my future.

My goals were only:

Montblanc 149, and a 162.

Ended up with a 164, 144, 162 (inbound), and a 146 (inbound)! Now I just need the 149!

For this year considering it is my first year collecting I would love

1. Montblanc 146

2. 149 (would love a 90th anniversary edition)

3. Sailor 1911L

4. Parker Sonnet

5. Waterman Elegance in the Black and Gold.

I keep on changing my mind. If I go to a pen show I'll go after Waterman Le Man 100 Patrician (and other Man 100), Parker 75 Ciselé, and maybe a Pelikan Toledo. If new, maybe a Nakaya Portable, and/or Pelikan Toledo.
