In certain lights the patina of the classic Sub blue sunburst dial has a rich purple hue. Thats one of those elements that can only be developed with time.

Thank you. It takes years to naturally develop the purple hue on a classic Bluesy. I am not sure if the new Bluesy release will get the purple hue??? Only time will tell.

Oakley are fine sunglasses. As are Maui Jim. But Costa Del Mar are the best sunglasses you can buy. I've owned them all and there's no comparison.

But I typically wear a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses.
I have Ray Bans for the beach, but prefer the Ford in any other situation

And I have to admit that after glancing at another Ticks and Kicks, W-R-U-W thread, steering wheels, does your car match thread, Cleaning your watch thread or which one should I buy thread....... I genuinely was interested what the classy, well dressed, stylish members of TRF wore for sunglasses. Maybe there was a thread from mid-2016 but I figured you guys love your watches and love taking pictures of them Just Tom, Oat Willy and Mystro. As I mention in the original post in Mississippi "outdoor sports" glasses are what most ppl wear. I figured what better place than here to have an expanded pool of diverse interests and heck just different options than right here!?

I would love to see a pair that I cant live without!
