Law enforcement Rolex reference??
Has there ever been one? You have the sub for divers. Day Date for politicians, milgauss for scientists/engineers. GMT, Air King, and sky dweller for pilots. Explorer for.....explorers. Yacht Master for sailing/boating. Daytona for car racing. I can't think of a model specifically associated with police yet it seems like there's a significant amount of law enforcement who are customers.

There have been Rolex references that have been engraved by Rolex for law enforcement agencies, units, and military units. These watches are engraved by Rolex, not a jeweler, and a lot of coordination goes into the negotiationl with Rolex to approve the project.
Special Rolexs that I'm familiar with are the British SAS Explorer, a Submariner made for 50th anniversary of the Sommozzatori of Italy's Polizia di Stato, and 10 Submariners / 5 GMT's done for the US Secret Service. |

Sinn makes a watch for the GSG-9, and they also have one for firefighters. Sinn makes some really tough and nice looking watches.

Doesn't Luminox make special watches for SWAT and Navy Seals?

Maybe Rolex could come up with a retirement countdown model to show how long until you could pop smoke? 20, 25 year countdown model.

This Sinn was being worn by a Frankfurt Germany SWAT officer I was working with last week. He was telling me that their office is close to SINN, and that 55 watches were made for his team. |
