To buy or not to buy

I recently came across an AP RO 36mm, specifically the Pictet & Cie special edition from 2005 of which about 1,800 were made. Pics attached. I met the seller (ex-Pictet banker) in person and had a good look at the watch. It comes with original papers and box. It is in perfect condition, barely worn, never serviced or polished. I negotiated the price down to $6,300 and have until tomorrow to decide. Based on my research, this seems to be a very good price as I haven't this specific model being sold or having been sold for less than $8000+.

The only reason I am hesitating is the resale value of the watch. It has the bank's logo engraved in the back and furthermore it also has the name of the Pictet banker who originally received the watch engraved in the back. I am wondering how easily and at what price I will be able to sell this watch in the future. I have a decent collection and I almost never buy a watch that I don't think I will be able to sell in the future for at least the same price I bought it for.

What do you guys think? Your thoughts are much appreciated!

Personally I think every watch that is personalized will drop value like a stone and it will be very hard to find a buyer.

Can't see any pics, but if it was for a bank I suppose all have the owner's name, I personally wouldn't buy a watch with some other guy's name on it but that's just me
