1675 Mk1

I have the opportunity of purchasing this mk1 GMT. I've held it and seen it up close and I'm just waiting on serial number. Dial appears flawless, a few marks on the plexi. Oyster bracelet, watch only. Any red flags? Thanks in advance

Looks nice to me too! Seen some wear, none of which seems to involve tragic polishing or water... she has some stories...

Thanks for the feedback. It may be part of a deal with a great matte dial 16800 plus cash to me for my 1665. I should have serial number later

It has been suggested that the case may have been 're-built' and chamfers re-cut? Any advice?

Chamfers being re-cut is part of an aforementioned polish, but it doesn't seem like the lugs are over-polished so could be OK. As for rebuilt and without knowing what that means in context, you'll need some pics of the watch with the back off, this watch should have a date stamped on the back and a good look at the movement will be useful. Get a Macro of the dial and post all pics if you are concerned about condition.

Looks like a nice specimen. Hands have probably been changed in the past but they look like they might still be tritium.

Re-cut = polished maybe? Still the case looks strong. I wouldn't mind at all. Very similar to my last gmt.

I blame it on the autoconnect.

Thanks for all your help. It's from a bricks and mortar shop and It'll come with a year's guarantee. Wants around £7k. Just waiting on confirmation of serial number

Serial number 285xxxx should be Mark 2 if I'm not wrong
