Thank you everyone! I'll have some time in a couple days and I'll try to post some proper photos.

The watch looks stunning and the gold, despite being yellow cold, looks more like bronze in person and is really subtle...but gives a VERY nice contrast to the black. Reminds me of the color scheme of the John Players Special racing team from the '70s.

The watch is not particularly heavy, but feels substantial on wrist...much akin to my 216570 Explorer II. I really wish they'd have implemented something like the Easylink system of the Rolex clasp though, which would definitely help it to wear more comfortable as it is not exactly a light watch.

I'm so glad I didn't buy the regular Black Bay Black...the S&G color and the date makes it the PERFECT Black Bay for me.
