Stick or Roman Dial on 36mm Datejust?

Thinking of adding a 36mm all steel Datejust with Jubilee bracelet but cannot decide on a dial. I have always like the stick dial and its lume but it seems the Roman dial is far more popular today. I like the stark contrast of the white dials but also the silver and Rhodium dials. I know its a matter of personal taste but just curious what people think. Any thoughts?

Idk why but I always prefer roman over the stick/baton dials. If you must get one with a jubilee bracelet, I would recommend you get the one with the fluted 18k bezel. Round/dome bezel works best with oyster bracelet.

You prefer the oyster bracelet on this model?

Personally I prefer Romans on a DateJust. If there are other sport watches in the collection it is likely the DateJust will get worn in more formal situations, where I would prefer not to have lume.

Both are nice! My Datejust's always had Roman dials. Personal preference.

Same here, my DJ has white roman dial. Much better than the stick and other dials IMO.

Romans are a classic and are much more distinctive. You're only gonna need the lume in the middle of the night if you wakeup, whereas you get the romans all day...

Stick dial always and only for me. I really dislike the roman dials myself but love a stick dial DJ.

Romans look great. However, they are not the most legible in lower light conditions.

Sticks for sure.

Much less cluttered- 36mm isn't huge with the date and cyclops competing for space...

Ultimate dress watch

36mm Date just roman numerals, fluted bezel, silver dial, jubilee braclet. That's it.
