Icon10 Incoming and UNHEARD of discount!!

My local AD always had one in the display, but was never able to discount, not even when I picked up my 116500... till now!
Stopped by today after lunch and casually asked what they can do on the BLNR. As soon as he wrote down $8000 OTD I took out my wallet, a done deal in 5 minutes.

The date change took a while to get used to, but it's perfect. You know a watch is a keeper when it's unobtrusive and there is no real "honeymoon" period - feels natural on your wrist on day 1.

Thanks - Yes, $8000 out the door, brand new!

I don't think I can get a better deal anywhere out of country, even after favorable currency rates.

Congrats! Thats a great deal within the US and hard to beat here!

You can definitely do better in certain countries but its only possible if you are traveling there to begin with. I bought my first BLNR for $7200-$7300 in Italy and my second for $7800 in Switzerland.

Congrats. Solid deal! When the number is heavily discounted my AD manager slides the calculator over to me so the staff have no idea what he is doing.

Once I decide I want a watch we call it "calculator war". He puts his number on his calculator and i put my number in mine and we show em. Kind of like getting called in poker or playing the old card game "war".

As long as everyone is realistic it works well. He is fair and I don't offer below cost and we all get along. Think I have bought three Rolex, 8 Tudor, 3 Nomos and several others from him.

That is quite the deal indeed. BLNR is always a great pickup.
