Does the GMTII BLNR have enough blue?
I plan on a SS blue watch as my next purchase, however, I am considering the GMTII BLNR and I was wondering if the half blue dial and blue 24 hr hand are enough to quench my blue thirst.
Are you BLNR owners content with the amount of blue? I won't wear it as a daily, that's my SubC's job. |

It varies with the ambient light, sometimes I wish it had a bit more "blue"... to be honest, but - I still love it.... hope this helps.
cheers

The blue on the bezel is dark. It almost blends with the black half of the bezel in some light. The blue 24 hour hand has a lighter hue. I bought it for the way it is and am extremely content.

No, it doesn't. If you want a predominantly blue watch, BLNR won't do it.
Bluesy on the other hand...or blue OP 39. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agree. The blue on the BLNR is best displayed in bright light or outdoors. Under many indoor lighting situations it appears black.

If you love a dash of blue hue on a SS sport watch, you will be content with BLNR with no brainer. Otherwise, you have to choose one of TT or PM Rolex watches with entire blue face.

Do you have to worry about the weight being exactly the same so it wouldn't affect accuracy or wear on the movement? |

Agree with comments above...if you want a "little" blue on your watch, then the BLNR is a beauty. The bezel does change to almost black in certain lighting. If you want the blue to be noticeable, as others said... blue dial is what you'll need...DJ, Op39, Sub bluesy, etc....

I Love my blnr and blue is my favorite color. But if you want blue all the way take a look at the Yachtmaster with blue dial.
It's stunning. Enviado de meu SM-G935F usando Tapatalk |

It offers a little splash of blue but if the color is what you're after, I'd explore all of your options before making the move. DJ, YM, D-Blue, OP etc if staying within the Rolex brand.

Does the GMTII BLNR have enough blue?
Agreed. The combination of blue and gold is also amazing. My old trusty bluesy agrees too: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
