Another frugal addition
Won this one on flea bay .. a 1950's gold capped seamaster with 501 calibre, original crown.. which is relatively rare in watches of this age.. for under $300 . If you are on the lookout for a nice smart watch, with an inhouse movement which can easily run within chronometer standards and is tough and proven over 50 years you can do a lot worse than buy a nice vintage semaster. My next hit will probably be a bumper or a 30t2 manual wind.. really love these vintage omegas!

Nice score Mamas. I was recently looking the 'boy' at vintage JLCs that run in the same price range. Sadly, they're just too small for me.
