Submariner pics from eBay. Genuine?
Made an offer for a Submariner 16610 on eBay from a reputable seller. Description of the photo was: "You are looking at a beautiful stainless steel Rolex Submariner 16610 with a custom black and blue dial. The watch runs perfectly and is from my personal collection. It comes with the original box and all you see in the pics." Seller advantagemps does have 100% positive feedback, and his seller history does include some Rolex sales. I have not seen much information on the custom black and blue dial, though - does anyone have more information? Also, there is a picture of this watch's serial that was posted on eBay as part of the sale photos. Isn't that a careless thing for a seller to post pic of actual serial? I blacked out the serial in the photo when posting here. Anyways, just trying to get more information in case I make a buying mistake. |

Link to the sale?
Also, how can anyone comment on a "custom" dial we can not see. Its NOT made by Rolex, its "custom" maybe a one off!

Well something is not correct
Green Hang Tag introduced in July 2015 - that watch is prior to 2002/3 Remaining photos not showing much. Bracelet highly polished or fake? Adam

Anymore polishing on that clasp and you will be able to see right through it. Ouch!
