Freebies that came with your purchase?

Aside from the box and papers, what else came with your watch?

I got the magazine and a hardcover catalog.

I did not get a Rolex cloth (polishing?)

A nice cup of coffee, and a chat about Rolex. I don't buy watches from an AD very often, so I can't really expect the VIP service.

Endless amounts of Bollinger, and being made to feel like a VIP! No cleaning cloths anymore since they changed the boxes. :(

I hear Rolex does not give out a carry pouch or an anchor with a Sub anymore. I think they should.

In all fairness, my AD, from whom I've bought several watches and jewelry for my wife, treats me great. Prices that can't be beat, even among Trusted Sellers here, friendly service anytime I walk in, fittings, straps on the house, publications. It's a really nice shop.

The latest hardcover catalogue and a cleaning glove that the salespeople wear in store. Don't be shy to ask, the glove was thrown in after I questioned the lack of cloth etc. in the box for a £xxxxx watch. The salesman agreed that it's strange for such a high value item not to at least include something to clean it with but also mentioned that Rolex hasn't given anything like that for years (I already knew this when I mentioned it to him so I was being a bit cheeky and it paid off).

At least you guys seemed to have been treated right.
I walked in 30 mins to closing, tried on 2 watches. Made a decision in 2 mins.
Got fitted while standing and made to wait by the cashier.
I was never offered a seat or a drink.
They were all in a hurry to get out by 5pm.
I grabbed the magazine and hd catalog and took them with me.
That was the quickest that I parted with that kind of amount.

Good enough for me.

I got a good deal. One Rolex magazine, which I already had a copy. No other freebie.
Just curious. Do those souvenir come from ROLEX or out of dealer's own pocket? For example, Rolex wallet, watch winder.

They come from Rolex, yes, but are purchased by the ORJ to distribute. They are most certainly not cheap either lol

I've bought 4 from my local AD and got nothing. Just bought a new two tone sub from a different AD and got a nice Rolex hat.

not much, a Moet Chandon champagne, rolex pouch, cartier cleaning kit, magazines, catalogue and coffin case. I wished I had a pen, tie or whatever cool accessories instead.

A lesson learned to buy from trusted sellers only. I don't buy often so it's worth much more to save 20% instead of building a relationship and maybe get a discount.
