It isn't unusual for Springer to not respond personally to these requests from ordinary mortals. He will generally have a few of his minions rough up the petitioner to extract whatever pathetic human concern you may wish to bore his Magnificence with to see if he deems it worthy of his august attention. Such interlocutory may take from two months to several years depending on the degree of insipidness of your concern.

I once applied for a position of junior minion but failed the dreaded 16753 test and have been living in abject humiliation ever since so I take these little opportunities to curry whatever scraps of favor as my be gleaned from the effort.

For our more literally minded friends the foregoing jackanapery is merely a paen to the inestimable Springer.

I find that when I am feeling over confident about my rolex knowledge, I drop a line to Spring and get dropped down a few knowledge notches. Kind of like my own personal ego check. Guys like Spring and Linesiders are generous with their time with us junior minions. They make this site click. That being written, Spring....i need some 503 ends....got any?
