SD on a Bond Nato

OK
I have thought about it for a while and finally broke down and decided to give it a try.. I figure its easy to swich back (well I thought it was, these no hole cases are a pain! I need a tool meant for these bars) and I have the DSSD for when I want a metal band.
Anyway, here is a pic of my M SD on a Nato.
It is VERY comfortable! I can wear it while using a laptop without scratching up my clasp or laptop. I barely know the watch is on...
I will have to see how to band wears when it breaks in...
It makes me want to get a Sub ND and put that on a Black Nato!

Sorry for the crappy pic but its a camera phone and I am bad with a camera to start...

hahaha yeah I know JJ is not a fan of the nato.
I also have a YM bracelet I could put on the SD if I wanted.
JJ shouldn't know it till he tries it haha.

I think it takes away from the dress of the watch for sure BUT
it makes it more comfortable for my work... I have knicked and
gauged metal bands pretty bad in the past so I think this will
be fun.

If anyone ever sees an old Sub ND minus bracelet for a smokin
deal let me know... I want one!

Hey tosser, you going soft in your old age?

Nice NATO/SD combo. Cut of the two steel bands and shorten the strap.

It's nice to change things up a bit, though I still prefer the original bracelet!

I like it both. When you get tired of the Nato...switch it back. It's your watch and you can do with it as you please

The Nato strap only suits the non date sub, infact i'd only stick it on a 5513, the SD is too high in my opinion and the date models don't really work with it either.

I agree. I think it sits too high with two strips of nylon underneath. The regular g10 trap is passable, but it's just more of a no-date thing.

I saw a pic of an Explorer II black face on a Bond NATO and it was incredible.

I feel the same way. I tried it on my SD. It is too high (thick) for the NATO band. I do like the look. It would look great on an ND sub.

Hmm still wearing it with the Nato and it has never been more comfortable...

As soon as someone finds me a super cheap Rolex or Tudor Sub ND I will
snatch it up and compare....

I think a old ND Tudor Sub would be kinda cool
