Are 42mm PAMs discounted more or less than larger (“normal”) sizes?

Hey guys -

It’s been several years since buying a panerai (have been on a Rolex run), and was considering getting a 42mm submersible but unsure how much of a discount can be had on these - I assume 42mm is less popular and probably has worse resale value, so wondering if I should be able to get more of a discount. I tried one on at a boutique out of state , so could ship without taxes. And while this is a boutique , it is owned and operated by a private jewelry store literally on the other side of the mall. Thanks for any insight into PAM pricing!
P.s. watch in question is pam 682

I'd love to have a 682. They're pretty new still, if you're open to pre-owned you might be able to pick one up with a fair discount after initial owners flip them away. That's my plan, anyway.

It remains to be seen if the 42mm thin case Pam will bring new demographic buyers into Panerai and/or returnees to the Panerai fold. That will have an effect on the resale value IMHO.

When I decided to go back to Pam with a 42mm Due, it didn’t really matter if I will get a hit on the resale price should I get tired and decide to flip the watch. I just love this latest Pan reincarnation.

I agree with you- the trend seems to be slightly smaller watches over the past year or two and I am sure the 42mm size is broadening their customer base as I am a good example- I would never wear a 44mm or larger panerai

I passed on a 45 mm PAM183 Panerai and got a 42mm PAM 337.
