Icon14 How rare is my Submariner

I recently purchased a Rolex Submariner 16610 - Black / Black (c)2003 stainless steel, all original box and papers.
The difference with this Watch is it has 2 yes TWO set of original Rolex guarantee papers dated from the purchase date both stamped from Rolex with the Watches serial number.
I have spoke to a couple of serious Rolex collectors that have both expressed interest in it for their collection and I have turned down offers they have both made until I get some more information / views on just how rare and valueable this example may be....
Does anyone know of any other Rolex Watch with a set of 2 punched paperwork from Rolex original?
The more feedback the better so please get in touch.

A 16610 is about as garden variety a Sub as you can get. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Y serial - last with the lug holes... I have B&P but it’s not a Unicorn.

Not sure who would care about two sets of papers for this watch. I would not pay more.

I don't see how this makes it anymore rare.....so it has 2 sets of papers in a world where papers can easily be faked......if anything it creates more doubt about authenticity/originality of your papers if I were the buyer.

I personally think this makes the most sense. Two sets of papers big red flag!

Guys, my 6 digit sub (circa Dec 2015) has the super rare combination of 3 warranty cards. Being that this isn’t the classified section, I don’t want to cross any boundaries or upset mods, so I’m going to ask that you PM me with your bids. If you’re offering less than $100k, save your time.

Auction ends at midnight EST sharp, so you better hurry!!

Yes sir. I could be wrong. But do you really think two serious collectors told him it’s so rare that they had to make offers?

And considering it’s his first post, I don’t think I’m going out on a limb.

If I’m wrong, I’ll gladly apologize.

C'mon man...really?

You are still upset about a thread I started in April that you are commenting on it again today?

And FWIW, hard to compare that thread content to a troll when it garnered 15 pages of civil debate. The only out of line comment came from you. Literally 15 pages and yours was the one.

And here you are, bringing it back up again. Why not just let it go?

Is it because since then there have been upwards of 50 threads with the same theme?

Are you that upset?

Why not just move on? It was April....that is a long time ago.

Interestingly enough, you won't even see this because you publicly announced that you have "ignored" me and you don't see my posts. Instead of simply ignoring me and moving on. Common theme you with you, no? I tend to see you saying that relatively often about various posters. Have you ever wondered why you do that?

A grown man throwing out sucker punches by announcing your distaste and disdain and then announcing that you can't see their reply because they are on your ignore list. Might as well just fight it out if you feel that strongly about it. Or better yet, ignore them altogether.

Well, if by chance you do see this...lets just move on man. Let it go. You appear to have a beautiful life with a wonderful family. No need to feel all this anger and angst. No need to throw sucker punches at someone you clearly don't like, someone you have put on your ignore list, from an Internet forum.

Lets just move on. Have a happy New Years and a safe and prosperous 2018.

We are a business, correct, and have had the Rolex agency for many years until the new legislations came about in 2012 where unfortunately we were unable to re invest to the lever they were asking.

Over the years we have seen many watches pass through our hands. In this time I have NEVER seen a watch with two papers. When sold from new they were exchange only and if you had lost the papers, well it was just tough.

The message was simply to all collectors who’d like to have a watch with something different; (Dial, bezel, hands, etc.) It’s hard enough finding quality watches with all box and papers these days, to find one with 2 authentic Rolex papers is extremely rare and I know why it has two.
Like a misprinted bank note I thought it could add serious value.
If it doesn’t that’s no problem, it is still a quality submariner from the year of the anniversary with full box and papers with something that no one else has. (2 papers)
If you would like to view it please call in store or follow the link as you have added.

Shouldn't this be in the sale section, not the gen. discussion?

I apologize posts incorrectly but. . .

How do you reconcile this:

With this:

Troll is in the eye of the beholder. So, I will take for granted the OP is not one. But this post should really have started in the sale section!!!

I sold my Y serial Sub a few years ago. It had box and papers with it. I had the original papers and service papers. Perhaps that what you have?

They made hundreds of thousands of 16610’s. Nothing rare about it.

Don’t underestimate man’s inherent tendency towards greed and stupidity. The made the same amount of 16710s and look how much fools are spending on those. What’s “punched” paperwork?
