Guy got his Rolex jacked while in shower

Read this in another forum and thought I'd share.

Here's the link:

I'm guessing she probably got tired of the current SS Sports waitlist.

Chalk it up to another person not knowing that you CAN wear a Rolex in the shower

We all have brain cramps once in awhile but this one ranks near the top.Lets see?

Take shower while leaving one night stand in room alone with rolex on table

: dummy:

Tough lesson to learn

I blame TRF

All those paranoid posts about soap damaging seals, water vapor by-passing seals and of course not getting old Rolexs wet without a recent service and full pressure test probably casued him to take it off before showering

Exactly!!! Must not have known the history or function beside the oyster case. Mercedes Gleitze would have rolled her eyes at this young lad, for more than one reason, 😂

Come to think about it, it serves him right as Rolexes can get wet.

Sorry, not being harsh, but really he should have known better. Then again he could have, instead, been rufied . A guy in my industry got zapped by a girl who drugged him in Vegas.

Yes, when I was 21 I don't know how many times I told a young woman:

" Well I must say that while the things you've proposed to do to me back at my apartment sound compelling, I simply must decline young lady. You see, I must secure all my valuables in a safe deposit box first, get your fingerprints to run a background check on you and I'll need to see a valid passport. Perhaps we can get together in a few weeks once I've done my due diligence. Please hold that thought for just a few weeks, especially the new thing you said you wanted to try. Have a nice night...can I call you a cab?"

Oh wait...it's was zero times ever.

Exactly. A little bit of common sense goes a long way. Of course some guys at 21 might be more naive than others. FYI i grew up in that area and everyone knows girls do this, or rufie, etc. Or they try luring you into waaaay overpriced clubs....

Terrible and to make things worse the report says it was his grandfather's watch.
