Having trouble uploading photos to the site, I've got a Mac is there anything I can download to help me re-size the photos?

Image Size app, it’s free in the App Store, I usually resize to 900x900.

don't need to download anything. When viewing the photo in preview, click tools, then click adjust size

You can put any size dimensions you want.
