Which one and why?
Hi Guys,
Looking at adding one of these watches in the 2500-3500 range , I like them all and all will fit my lifestyle and dress code, I'll wear it with leather and rubber straps, don't like Natos and have other watches that I wear with bracelet. I know that these are all very different pieces but if you can get one of them I'd like to hear your opinion of which one you'd choose and why. thanks. |

what he said :)
unless you can't work the crown to wind, get the PAM 380 and tons of straps. Some people do find the speedy crown "not easy" to wind.

Voted Speedy. Its a classic watch.
Didn't vote Panerai as I am of the belief that a first Panerai should be a Luminor. Assuming it would be your first. Never have considered a Tudor. |

what else do you own? Looks like you have something similar to the BB Steel (EXII?)
Sounds like this purchase will be more about the strap. The panerai strap market would be hard to beat. If you lean towards rubber the BB has the tailor made Rubber B strap which looks good. But all that being said, out of those options, I would likely go with a speedy pro. |

Speedy as it's a true classic (and quite stylish to boot).

Speedmaster hesalite. A must for any collector. Along with Rolex Sub, JLC Reverso and a Patek, Audemar or Lange.

Thanks for all the replies guys , Is the ETA movement on the 380 a good quality movement?, is it comparable to the Lemania on the Speedy in quality terms??, Asking because I'm not familiar with these movements , my only experience with ETA was with a 7750.
I kind of like the manual wind idea since I don't have any manual wind watches. Thanks, |

to think of it, it even has less parts than the chronograph movement in speedy, so there is less things to break :p

Speedy all the way...I still own the black dial in this picture. I’m really sorry I sold the other two.

I voted BB Steel on strap purely because the Black Bay Blue was not an option.
This would be my preference but the BB Steel is nice too.

BB Steel. I can't do the Speedmaster because of the manual wind, its just not for me.
