Does this warranty paperwork match your GMT Master? 16700 SN/U156789

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Mods please relocate if necessary.

The other day I bought a 16710 from a private party here in the SF Bay Area. For the past 18 years he assumed that he had the correct warranty papers for the watch but it turns out he didn't. He bought a 1997 16710 in 2000 at Fourtane Jewelers in Carmel Ca but the jeweler gave him Rolex paperwork for a 16700.

I'd like to reunite the warranty card with the owner of the 16700 if possible and I'd be happy to mail it to the owner free of charge. Please PM me if this is your missing warranty.

Style Number: R16700A30B7879
Serial Number: U156789
Original owner: Adrian Parra
Original Purchase Date: 1/23/98

While I'm here I might as well post up a photo of my new 16710 :)

Great post. I’ve offered a numbered hang-tag I found before. I wonder if mods could add a ‘found’ section. No money to change hands (apart from postage perhaps).

It would be a great story if you found the person with the matching 16700 watch and he had the paperwork that match your new 16710.

Congrats and hope watches and paperworks get reunited some day.

Thanks. Needle in a haystack odds there but it would be quite a story though. I just hope the 16700 owner somehow runs across this.
