Hulk

Is it me or are these Hulks becoming more available? Seems to be a decent amount for sale. ADs seem to be selling to flippers before someone that actually wants to wear it.

Yup! Either I got lucky....or it’s a scam and the ADs are hoarding them.... I was also told by several ADs that they are no longer able to place orders for the Hulk and had not seen one come through for months......who knows.

Just can’t believe it would be available to anyone and not reserved.

I’ve been on the wait list at this particular AD for months. I called twice yesterday...second time after calling all over Southern Ca. and inquired about my position on “the list”. Maybe my persistence paid off. They told me they had one on hold....but it was a “no show”.....and asked how soon I could come there...I now have a brand new Hulk.

Lots of 'em here in the classifieds by low post count newbies asking $11,000 or more.
Seems everyone is jumping on the Hulk flipping bandwagon. If the watch is not discontinued which I believe it won't be, all these flippers are in for disappointment once the supply gates to AD's open.

I think everyone is waiting for Basel to see what’s going to happen! Price increase or not? Models discontinued or not? New models.......etc
Then I feel we will see a lot more of the ss models

I'm not sure what's typical but I've seen two different usernames post saying they bought a LV from their AD. I hope it's true as I'm supposedly next on the list at my AD. I know to take it with a grain of salt, but I'm only looking to purchase from an AD and I have no interest in paying over retail.

I bought one two weeks ago from my AD in Europe. While they were adjust mine, they called an other client to let him know that his Hulk arrived as well.

So the Hulks are definitely hitting the AD.

If Hulk terminated:
Price starts at HK$120 000

If Hulk lives:
Price range HK$85 000 - HK$100 000

Funny.. 6-7 years ago there wasn't to many 👍 on the green. It was The first one I bought after my 1st ROLEX 16710 Coke or black. I forget what it came with now.

Even 12 months ago I seem to remember a lot of negativity about it and now the best thing ever (not that I like flipping but for flippers in the UK it’s the highest performing model after Daytona C).

Personally, it was the one I always wanted and glad it was possible for me to pick one up last year, just before they got really scarce.

Even if it doesn’t get discontinued and values do not skyrocket... it is still a beautiful watch

I’m really starting to dislike hearing about watches like they are nothing more than stocks to be bought and sold.

its still the exception to find one available. Finding one does not indicate a trend.

Me too. It's all we seem to get lately. Even the Basel threads are about what effect new releases will have on resale value of current or to-be-discontinued pieces. Rolex is fast turning into nothing more than a commodity here on TRF.

and then people complain about waitlists... waitlists and demand are directly related to the commoditization of the hobby

In the UK, looks like all the Hulk’s are still at the Grand Master’s arena as they aren’t many coming in. Last AD I spoke with said a 3 year wait.

The Hulk comes alive in the Spring, been wearing mine more often the last few days over my BLNR, the sun really makes it pop

I’m not sure about selling to flippers.
I got the call this week. They have brought in a policy where they keep the guarantee card for a year which I welcomed.
I’m not sure about new stock but it was a surprise to get the call after all this time.

Yes there new policy at that AD is to remove all stickers before you are allowed to buy it. For me no problems. I am not planning to sell it (soon) I bought it for my wife.
