Rolex 18038/18238 Dial Authentication help

Hi everyone

I’m new to the forum, but thought this would be the best place to try get some advice on a dial I'm about to purchase. Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place.

I’ve been wanting the dial from on my Day Date 18238 from a Black Stick to a Diamond Dial for a while but of course I want it factory only, and not one which has been customised ,reprinted, refinished or refurbished in any way.
Unbelievably I found the Dial of my dreams at a Jeweller not too far from me in London that specialises in second hand Rolexes. The dial was already on a watch (Daydate 18038), but they sold it to me with a dial swap for the black stick dial on my Day Date.

They said that the dial is 100% factory, and not re-printed or customised in any way. Their watch maker also confirmed this.
I think what they are asking is a fair price for this dial (especially considering its my dream dial), but only if it is indeed an original factory dial.

As mentioned the Dial came off a Day Date 18038
I’ve done as much research as I can and it generally looks like the ‘vignette’ dials from around this period usually have what looks like the earlier style diamond setting.
However, Rolex do sell what seems to be this exact same dial through their service centres for the 18038/18238.

Also it looks like previously Bob’s watches sold a 18038 with what seems like this exact same dial.

So to me it does look like this dial with this Diamond setting is, or has been available for the 18038.

I really love this dial, so it all feels a bit too good to be true. I also obviously want to be cautious because I don't want to pay the asking price for a non-factory dial. I know it’s really difficult to confirm 100% without seeing the dial in person or checking the diamonds, but any advice would be massively appreciated.

I’ve added some images below, thanks in advance!
