Silver bezel and blue/gold insert?

Just wondering about this submariner. Ive never seen one with a gold band, gold insert and silver bezel. Rare variation? Or someone replace original gol bezel?

Maybe I’m using the wrong term. I mean the outer ring where you grip to rotate the insert. I assure you it is silver in color.

I think it's the lighting..the bezel appears to be gold around the 6'oclock half.. the upper looks silver due to flash..?

I’ve seen and held the watch I assure you it’s over I just can’t find another one like it anywhere so I’m wondering if it’s been replaced or if it came from the factory like that

I believe that would mean that the bezel has been replaced with SS. I've never seen one with SS bezel. But I am not an authority on this kind of thing.

Looks like it’s a SS bezel, look at 11:00-1:00 and compare the color of the case and end link to the bezel. Have to agree with the OP that it appears SS to me as well.

Not a rare variation... at least not from Rolex anyways.

This is a variation from a cheap owner who didn't want to pay the $$$ for a gold bezel at some point when it needed to be replaced.

Yeah, no Rolex ever came out of the factory that way. The bezel should match the crown and inner bracelet link.

Good Lord, are you people dense? He said he's held the watch and it's clearly not gold in the picture, not sure why everyone is arguing with him. The bezel is not the same color as the crown or the center links.

Anyway, OP it's probably a replacement bezel on a TT watch.

Well to me (on my screens), the lower half of the bezel appears gold and definately not the same silver colour as the lugs. I know he said has held it..

The bezel insert appears to be non genuine (the pearl insert and more), it may be a gold plated bezel and the gold is wearing off.. You know where this is going...... walk away.

Guys isn't it a fake? - It looks like a ceramic insert kind of, the numbers are inset. Look at the rehaut engraving - There is non ! Maybe it's just the lighting ....

This. Faker than a fake thing.

Recessed bezel numbers (shadows at 20). Mag all wrong on the cyclops (never a 5 digit issue).

Gold plate that’s worn off is my guess.

Could be, but looks like a 5digit watch.. or could be a shaky hand while taking the pic making the bezel numbers appearing inset? Either way, don't buy a Rolex if you have any doubts whatsoever about the legitimacy.
