datejust or tudor 58
I'm looking to buy a new watch - probably an heirloom
I have a 58 on order. but I'm now considering a datejust 116200 instead. (smooth bezel / oyster / silver dial) I've really reduced my watch collection recently and am now really down to a 1967 speedmaster and 1970 5513 sub. i'd welcome opinions on which of these watches you'd choose and why? cheers |

I’d choose the datejust. I’m wearing the 116234 but I love the smooth bezel of the 116200. Even though the jubilee has no micro adjustments that can be made it is one of the most comfortable bracelets I’ve ever worn. I forget I’m wearing it most of the day. Great watch, classy and recieve complements on it quite regularly.

I would say the Datejust. It is more classic and I think wears well in most any situation. Also, handing down a Rolex as an heirloom is a pretty awesome.

Rolex will make a better heirloom, nothing wrong with either though.

Datejust would round your collection out nicely. The Tudor would be too similar to the 5513 IMO.

58.
A diver is always the better watch... Both tested for sturdiness, but the 58 looks it too... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
