Opinion wanted: Flip new DJ41 for a vintage Day-Date??
Hi guys,
My grandfather had a DD 18038, which was passed down to my father and to me later on. My father and I had to sell it one point due to financial problem in the past for quick cash. Flashback to the present: Right now, I own DJ41 and a Hulk at the moment (will add BLNR sometimes next year). However, I want opinion from you guys. As DD holds a sentimental value to me, I currently own latest DJ41 (shown in the picture) on jubilee bracelet with champagne dial and diamond marker. I was looking for Day-Date models around that era, mainly, 18038 same that my grandfather had and 18238 with 3155 caliber. Should I flip for an DD 18238 (shown in the picture) with champagne dial with diamond marker in 36 mm? Thank you all for your opinions. |

Yes.......but not for that DD. Find one without diamond dial.
