Help with a leather strap for wood Day Date
Hi everyone,
I have a wood dial day date (see attached). I am interested in putting it on a leather strap (only for when I wear a suit) and am seeking advice. 1. What color leather strap do you think it will look best on? I'm thinking of an alligator strap that is the same color as the dial. 2. What type of leather? Alligator? What price am I looking at? 3. I would like to try on straps in person and I live in Los Angeles. Does anyone know a store in Southern California that sells leather straps? I work in West LA but live in the South Bay. |

Wasn't even aware Rolex had a wooden dial as an option.

I think this strap would be smashing - https://www.hirschstraps.com/product...nt=32606685576
Beautiful watch by the way! If it were up to me I'd just keep it on the bark bracelet. All fine wood needs a good bark. |

I wouldn't buy a strap off the shelf for a watch like that, no way. I'd get one custom made.

I do really like the bark. I got this specific day date because of the condition of the dial and it was a bark bracelet with a bark bezel. |

Your decision. I would leave the bark bracelet on it.
