I left my Rolex in my super hot car is this bad?

Took my sub date off when I went to the gym and left with my buddy to get lunch and drinks after and left my watch in my car for about 7 hours and it was very hot when I went to put it on. Can this cause any damage?

you're ok. Subs have gone to war in the desert and jungles and survived.

Good thing you are not worried about anything else inside the car

I'll deliver the bad news, since nobody else wants to.

It's over, will never work normally again, possible that it will explode when on your wrist and is now dangerous to wear. Unfortunately, inside the case, Rolex has a thermometer that stains a certain color if the watch gets too hot, when they open the case, they'll see the stain, close it back up, void the warranty, and never service again.

I'll help you out and buy the Sub Date off you for $1k to save you from the headache.

All seriousness, you're fine, put it back on and enjoy.

You cannot leave a child in the car but your rolex is fine. Minus the risk of getting stolen.

Yes, believe it or not they are still tools, and unlike the iphone will still work just fine when hot or cold for that matter.

I keep asking my dishwasher at work if he wants to challenge my Rolex vs his g shock by putting them through the dishwasher. He always says. Ok you go first.

Unless this is a troll post, consider yourself both fortunate and cursed that you have the resources to afford such a wonderful watch but also lack understanding of its features and benefits.

Be careful in this scary world, Mr. Great.

Time speeds up when it gets hot, right?

So maybe reset it...
