My husband gave me my YM when I was 32, to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It was a gift, but with my approval of the watch, in my presence. If we couldn't have afforded it I would have nixed it.
My husband received a Sub from his father last year for his 39th birthday. |

Is the age relevant? How many actually bought their's as opposed to being gifted it by generous parents.
Bitterly yours etc etc

18 - 6426/0 model - Oyster Precision in stainless steel with Oyster bracelet.
It cost £230 in 1979. Just gone all misty eyed for the good old days. |

Promiced myself one by 21, then promiced myself an upgrade at 30, but was a year and half late for that.
