Got the call

Picked up this beauty in Gleneagles Scotland today. Been on the list for 9 months, no papers or stickers but I can live with that.

In the UK, (most) ADs now withhold the warranty card for 12-24 months to prevent flipping of the Watch to the grey market.

Some even have you sign an agreement not to sell the Watch within so many years.

Those who are fine with this policy are more likely to get a desirable piece. Those who argue against it do not get the desirable pieces.

Demand for certain pieces is so high here in the UK that most are happy to adhere to the AD policies.

i bet you can easily challenge any of these things based on consumer regulations in the UK.. or EU hehe (even win compensation).
after you pay for something its yours.

I waited 3 months for a SD43 that eventually didnt look ok on me so I got a SubD. There was a bit of a discussion regarding stickers but nothing pushy. A nice Ad probably knows when he/she sees a 'hoarder' :) :) I myself removed one from the inner clasp and kept everything else for 3-4 days :)
I even got a green service pouch as a gift!

congrads for the green beauty!

Nothing to challenge. If you don't agree to the terms, you won't get the chance to pay for it....

I think he means to kick up after agreeing and paying.

In the UK relationship is critical. You may win the battle but lose the war. You’ll certainly never get another watch from that AD/group.
I’m happy to toe the line and keep strong AD relationships.

I think this is great. It would fix a lot of things in current market.
