would you do this trade?
Hi everyone
so i'm thinking about getting the AP 15407! now my question: would you trade the AP 15202 and Patek 5167 for the AP 15407 in steel? my two other watches are Rolex 126710 and 16710.. thanks in advance for your thoughts :-) |

I wouldn't, rather keep the PP and trade a Rolex or both.

Absolutely. The 15202 is a touch small for my tastes and I too am not a fan of the 5167...and am a huge fan of the 15407

No cash on top? That’s a good trade for you straight up.

I'm a huge fan of the 15407. I think you'll be happy with that deal. I would rather trade a Rolex out though.

Absolutely
NOT! The 202 iconic and timeless and legible. The 5167 is a great everyday every situation daily wear.

The 15407 is an unbelievable watch, but it’s quite flashy — the RO isn’t the lowest-profile watch out there to begin with, and the fact that it’s open-worked means it’ll catch the attention of everyone, even people who normally pay no attention to watches. If you like this, then go for it, or if you’re fine with it in certain situations, also go for it. However, I like wearing my ROs around and I know that I would be more hesitant to wear the 15407 in public places or when seeing people that I wouldn’t necessarily want to appear showy/start a conversation about watches with, meaning it would be reserved for wearing around the house or on rare occasions. Again, this might not be the case for you or you might be fine with it, just figured I’d give my view.

Outside AD’s and WIS my RO is the least commented on watch I’ve owned! The ROO44 grabbed attention with its size but by far the most has been my Rolex’s but then they are the most recognise watches out there.. |

All of your current watches are in the 39-40mm ballpark, 5167 wears pretty small in my opinion as well. 15407 at 41mm, and wears larger in my opinion, is going to be quite a bit different. Have you factored that in or tried on a 15400/407?

Yeah, I would try it on and make sure the size is right. I love the 407 dial and it is awesome but the 305 would be the open worked for me if I were to get one, and aesthetically the 407 wins there. But if you find it's too large, I think you would regret giving up what you have as they will be challenging to acquire again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

for my 7in wrist the 41mm RO case wears too big for my taste... similar to a 42mm ROO.
that said, the 407 dial is too glorious...go for it! |
