People have been saying this on here for 3 years now. Hasn’t happened. It is a mass produced Rolex that has been in production for years now. It isn’t rare.

I would say it's got another couple of years still in it. That model is exploding in Asia.

Doing a search will yield hours of reading worthless speculation. The LVc has topped out on its grey market value. I have been watching this for over a year. There was just a release the past few days of more LVc inventories as DavidSW has 3 and others are now showing multiples. Same with BLNR as there are lots of them at the same time.

First off, no one knows unless you're a big wig at rolex behind closed doors.

That said, I think there's a new movement coming for the Sub line. My guess is that when the new sub in SS is released with the new movement, they will discontinue the LVC. But like I said, what do i know!? lol.

Trouble today Rolex are no longer watches they are today little more thought of as ££££££££$$$$$$$$$ by many today which IMHO is a shame.

Agree it is indeed a shame. i miss the market decades ago when you'd acquire a fine mechanical timepiece because you admired the look, feel, and hand craftsmanship / quality. For some of us, it also felt like getting a fine timepiece brought a sense of personal accomplishment.

Today, it seems that (perhaps) people have no faith in always-devaluating currencies are so are looking for a storage of wealth. In a sense, it is not that a watch goes up in value, it is the declining buying power of local currencies (Dollar, Euro, Yen, Renminbi, etc) that people are seeking to protect the value of their efforts. The ongoing and continued flooding of said currencies by central bankers worldwide does not help matters.

Have NEVER seen things this crazy, not even during the dot com and housing bubble. Wonder what they'll call this bubble when it bursts.

When the new sub movement comes out, Rolex will almost certainly shake up the lineup a little (as the GMT just experienced). Since the standard black model is safe from meaningful changes, it wouldn't shock me to see the Hulk get replaced with something new. But maybe not -- the steel BLRO didn't replace the BLNR.

Can you imagine the frenzy if we get a blue steel sub?
