Hey - just a datapoint here:

In Denver, got on the waitlist at my AD 7 days ago and got the call today. Sales rep stated I wouldn't have gotten the watch that quick (or at all) if I hadn't been a long standing customer of the store. Crazy as I picked up 116610LV about 7 years ago and everyone seemed flush with Submariners back then.

Nice! Does that length of time between purchases even make a difference with an AD? I mean, I bought a watch from my AD 4 months ago and I'm sure they forgot who I was already, and not even try to prove my story out.
