It's never bad form to ask.

When there's a wait for it, you can ask but you probably won't get one.

could be, doesnt mean they would be discounted. i know 3 ADs around me and none are discounting that model as a single purchase.

If you find one in a window you can ask for a discount, but they'll tell you no and someone else will come in that day and pay MSRP. I live in a big city and one AD has a 5 person waiting list, and another isn't even taking reservations.

Good luck with that. I've had my AD looking for one for me for about two months and none have come through (I hear the bracelet models are the hardest to find). But I guess it can't hurt to ask.

No. But ask yourself this...why should an AD give you a discount on a watch which is in high demand???

He’ll sell it at full msrp.

I went to my AD and they said I could get 5% off on in stock Rolex and IWC but they would not give me anything off on the Tudor GMT. I bought it anyway and I don’t regret it.

You'll never get a discount if you don't ask. You might be the lucky one to get it on such a high demand piece.

I bought mine at MSRP on the bracelet and my AD ordered me a leather Tudor strap and deploy at a nice discount.

I wasn’t able to get a discount but I got the AD to throw in the canvas strap (bought it with the bracelet) at no extra cost.

If you don't ask you don't get.

You won't get one on this model.

But you should always ask.

It's never bad form to politely ask for a discount. You'll never get a discount if you don't ask.

I asked my AD for a discount...she chuckled and swiped my card. So, no.
