Incomings...still in shock.
Driving for Thanksgiving travel I knew I would be passing a few ADs. Called a few and nothing, as expected. I decided to make one more call to one a little further out of the way and they had a BLNR just come in....and he said it was mine if I could make it that day to buy face to face! Told him I would be there in a few hours.
I honestly was half convinced I was being pranked or there was a miscommunication so I set myself up to be disappointed. Sure enough when I get there he offers a drink, goes to the safe, returns with a BLNR and puts it on my wrist. Extremely pleasant guy and really took pride in providing a good experience. Just when I am thinking how extremely lucky I am the day takes an even crazier turn....As I am looking down at my wrist to admire the BLNR I notice that in the case below me there is an SD4k sitting there. I was excited because I had let my SD43 go because it was a bit too big for me and have been looking for an excellent condition pre-owned SD4K. This one looked flawless! I asked him if it had box and papers and if so how much factory warranty is left. He looks at me like I am kidding and says of course it has box and papers and it has a full warranty because it’s NEW. I about choked on my drink. He said he is as shocked as I am it is there. I mean for all I know this could be one of the last, or maybe the last SD4K sitting new in an AD’s case. Long story short, a decision to make one extra call to an AD along the way and I ended up with a new SD4K and BLNR at MSRP! I love the watches and am still in complete disbelief. I feel like I now need to ditch family thanksgiving and fly straight to Vegas.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Where the heck was this AD? In the enchanted Forrest? I wonder what he makes his living selling? Maybe his clientele just don’t buy Rolex sports watches? No wait list etc etc? |

He doesn’t maintain wait lists. Will give courtesy calls to good customers when about hot references that they have expressed interest in but that’s it. The BLNR literally just came in and hadn’t hit the case. He said it would have been gone in hours had he put it out but the SD4k was more of a WIS piece that wasn’t his main clientele given the city. Wow, what a day. Nice find. Two nice finds. I almost feel like you should have picked one and left one behind for someone else to discover. Ya know? in the spirit of the holiday and all. Instead of hoarding them all for yourself. Of course I say this knowing there is no way I would have left either of these behind myself. Congrats man and Merry effing Christmas to yourself. |

Ha thanks! Honestly I thought about leaving one for half a second but I came in for the BLNR and the SD4k had been in the case for well over a year so I figure everyone had their chance. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Wow. Shocking. Yeah, good point, by now it’s fair game and don’t get me wrong. My suggestion of leaving it to ‘spread the wealth’ is out of pure jealousy of your score. Lol. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
