Another bad Ebay “Rolecks”

Another bad sign when the seller is using screen shots to sell the “Rolex”

If it is real, they didnt scratch it stealing it from the real owner. I would want the serial number to check and see if it was stolen first...

I don't know if it's fake or not. Basing authenticity on the sellers name is ridiculous and irresponsible. What gives you the right?

Don't think anyone is saying the watch in the pics on the listing is fake. The concern lies with the seller. Watch is described as 'new, without tags'. The gunk in the clasp would suggest its anything but new.

Guys, be careful. This watch does not look like a fake. Just because the description in wrong doesn't mean the watch is bad. Yeah the pics are not great- but I don't see any "tells" that just jump out and there's a lot of bids on this.

While number of bids is no indicator of authenticity, I have to say it does look good to me too. Doesn't necessarily mean this what you receive though. Pickup only is a concern.

nonetheless, reporting someone without DEFINITIVE proof is unfair to the seller and diminishes credibility of the reporting individual and this site in general.

Watch looks legit.
Whether you will get it or not, different story.
Looks like screenshots for photos.
No box or papers on a relatively new modern reference is a bad sign. Could be a stolen watch.
However, watch itself looks good.

Pickup only. How would ebay buyer protection even work in a case like that? Seems a lot could go wrong.

I'd only pay via Ebay checkout and meet seller at a safe location with cctv eg police station. Paying cash would be a big no no.

What exactly defines this watch as not authentic?

I personally could not 100% authenticate the watch from the photos, but it looks more genuine than fake??

NOT reported

Nowhere does it say this Watchout section is restricted solely to watches.

Maybe, but its restricted to fakes or suspect fakes or to be more accurate -'areas of deceiving' i.e, "watchout'

^^ EXACTLY!^^ It seems like from time to time, people are WAY too quick to "report" a seller without hard data. I think overall, the people on this site know what they are looking for, but there should be definitive proof that the item is fake- a goof-ball seller doesn't constitute a fake item. Nor does poor description. Thanks for weighing in Gladiator.

Guess we'll agree to disagree. When the mantra is buy-the-seller I don't think it unreasonable to 'flag' certain sellers.

"FLAG" is fine - reporting is not (in my opinion) unless you are sure its a fake or a scam!
