I'm usually an oyster guy, but the jubilee looks great on that watch.

Both look great, but I think the Jubilee adds that extra "pop". I vote for the Jubilee!

Oyster every time. Even my DJ is on oyster...not a big jubilee fan

There's a special place in Rolex heaven for those with the wisdom and panache to rock an oval link jubilee. :)

Modern (D) Jubilee on my ‘76 Thunderbird and my ‘89 16713 and I wouldn’t want it any other way, although the GMT does feel heavier/more stretched — maybe the softer gold, 18k vs. 14k?
I almost bought a folded bracelet 1625, but heard a crazy rumor that the gold links were soldered and needed to be cut for sizing! Never confirmed it. And those ovals are... finicky? Jubilees are just so much comfier, in my opinion. |

The TOG is the original Rolex tool watch, definitely oyster in my opinion.

And another vote for the jubilee. There is something about it that just seems to lift certain watches .

I like the combo of jubilee bracelet with sport model. Jubilee goes well with those watches.

I had the understanding that these, at least the two tone, were sold on jubilee. Having said that, I have voted "oyster" because I wear my own 1625 on an oyster, just prefer the look. Respect to all.

Interesting! I tried to google and find old 1625 ads but couldn’t find anything, would be cool to know what’s the “most original” to this model was...
