Inside the Rolex factory
Hi Guys
I'm interested in the manufacture and the machines used in the construction of our Rolex's. My understanding hand construction is still the main assembly process? I can only find this on YouTube and it's in French, has anyone got a link to any other inside the factory videos? https://youtu.be/hNSk6cFCQNo Thanks Rick

I heard they were going to have a contest for a handful of lucky people to tour the factory...and all you have to do is find the hidden ticket in a candy bar.
Wait...no, I'm thinking of something else. |

Will they give all of the people at the end of the tour their own "Everlasting Oyster"?

Wonder if the people who tour the factory will have a chance to purchase a Rolex watch at the end of the tour.

Inside the Rolex factory

I recently came back from a Patek tour at their Geneva factory. We got flown out and back by private jet and thoroughly looked after by them during the 2 days. At the end of it, we were presented with the latest pieces. Many of them on long waiting lists in the stores, and yes, you jump the queue. Rolex, to my knowledge don’t do this. Probably because it will expose how much of their ‘build’ doesn’t correlate with the marketing they push. |

A Patek VIP has spent many many more 00000's than a Rolex VIP on average i suspect and there are less of them. Cost benefit makes sense for Patek.

Yes, to a certain extent Patek are likely to make more money from regularly flying small groups out to its premises. However, Rolex could be selective. There are people on this forum, not to mention others who aren’t part of this community, who have spent money on Rolexes to match some who go on the Patek tours. Your take is valid, but I still think Rolex have this bs marketing veil over the brand that they wouldn’t want to potentially undo. |

There has been a guy sitting outside the Rolex factory, since February 2017. Just sits there on a plastic chair with a radio.
All he wants is a Batman. |
